Your query gets embedded by the same multilingual sentence transformer (paraphrase-multilingual-MiniLM-L12-v2) that processed all 11,000+ posts. The search finds posts by meaning, not keywords — it understands that “creamy white bean stew with alliums” is the same dish as “leek and butter bean recipe.”

Results are ranked by cosine similarity in 384-dimensional space. This works across languages (Norwegian captions, English queries) and across modalities — you can search by concept even if it was only spoken in audio, shown in video, or captured via OCR.
